When first owning fish, it can be hard to tell what food to get, some people go for the cheapest foods, some people go for the most expensive and some people just go from what the average store owner says, my aim is for this post to help you decide what food is best for your fish.
First Off, lets go through the types of food that people may look for
1. The 'label' food - usually, people don't look for a certain brand, they may own a goldfish and just look for a food named 'Goldfish flakes'
2. The expensive foods - This is usually for people with fancy fish, or expensive fish... you may find that it doesn't make a big different for your fish though.
3. Cheap foods - often just the fish food that's cheapest.
4. Advise Food - The foods that are advised by other fish owners.
Now I am going to go through some common found fish foods with pro's and con's

- Cons: Contains actual fish

- Cons: Can be expensive
4. Tetra Fish Food:
- Type of food: Flakes/Pellets

In all honesty, the type of fish food you can find is infinite, what i would suggest is looking at the labels and looking for fish food that does NOT have fillers such as rice or contain fish if possible. This will be the most natural and healthy food, remember.. not all expensive fish food is high quality! Make sure you find out if your fish prefer floating flakes, sinking flakes or pellets. You can also trial and error until you eventually find the food that is right for your fish. I've been Isabelle from Aqua Antics, I hope this has helped and I will see you all in my next post.
